Many of you already saw the photo of Truffle nabbing the cat treat bag and trying to make a get-away with it. That photo should tell you all you need to know about the Zuke's G-Zees Tasty Turkey treats we received from chewy.com to review this month.
Truffle almost got away with the new treat bag!
The Zuke's G-Zee treats are available in two flavors at chewy.com: turkey and salmon. They are normally over $5 per bag, but are currently on sale for a great price: turkey ($2.99), salmon ($2.17). That means we could get double the treats for about the same price.
You can already tell Truffle is interested in grabbing these treats from Brulee.
We received the turkey flavor treats to sample. According to chewy.com, the key benefits of these treats are
suitable for all life stages
grain-free, which makes it easy to digest and purrfect for sensitive tummies
glucosamine for healthy joints
cranberry to keep our urinary tract healthy
not only yummy, but healthy, natural, semi-moist treats
only 3 calories each (unless you eat a whole bag)
made with high quality proteins
Made in the good old U.S.A.
Brulee getting her first taste of the G-Zees treats.
The Zuke's G-Zees Tasty Turkey treats are shaped like little Zs. This made it so much easier for Brulee to eat them with her little flat face and mouth. The ingredients of the turkey flavored treats are: Turkey, Potatoes, Maple Syrup, Tapioca, Vegetable Glycerin, Cranberries, Glucosamine, Gelatin, Fish Oil, Natural Flavors, Molasses, Lecithin, Salt, Phosphoric Acid, Sorbic Acid (a preservative), Mixed Tocopherols.
Miss Piggie - we mean, Truffle - reached up to grab her treats!
The G stands for grain-free glucosamine. Every bite is packed with nutritious turkey and omega-rich fish oil plus glucosamine and cranberries. We know the humans care about all of this nutrition. All we know is that we loved the taste. Now to just find where Mom Paula hid that bag of treats!
Even Brulee looks like she is ready to nab the bag of treats!
As always, 1-2 day shipping is free if you order $49+ worth of stuff from chewy.com. Customers can also save 5% if they sign up for auto ship on select brands. We've never had a problem with the shipping from chewy.com, but we strongly recommend that you order several days in advance of when you need your food and treats because sometimes the men in the blue or brown shorts mess up! We give the Zuke's G-Zees treats and Mr. Chewy 8 paws up!
We received these treats free from chewy.com in order to do a review and received no compensation for our honest review. We'll definitely get more of these treats and order from chewy.com.
Truffle doesn't understand how anyone can turn down this face.
We're going backwards a little in our post about our new treat. Yesterday, you saw Truffle with the attempted "get away" so we thought we'd show you the "attempted robbery" today. Notice Brulee is looking away, trying to look innocent.
Whew! We are really tired this week. We completed the 2015 Cats of the CB Calendar and have set up the webpage for the Secret Paws 2014. We'll post the link to order your calendar once we receive a hard copy and review it. The Secret Paws 2014 webpage is live and we encourage everyone to visit it for information. You'll need to click on the "instructions" tab and send us the required information listed on that page.
Brulee: Mom Paula keeps walking around the house with those flashy boxes. I don't like them, even without the flash, because all of them have that bright red light that focuses on us and it hurts my eyes. I'll show Mom Paula. I'll just grab the camera strap and hide that box!
Guess what? We finished the 2015 Cats of the CB Weekly Planner last night. Everything is ready to order, but Mom Paula wants to order one first to make sure everything looks okay. She'll pay the extra for shipping to get it in the next few days. Here's a preview...
We'll post the link for ordering just as soon as we know it's "good to go." A special thank you to everyone who submitted photos for the calendar and to Debbie Glovatsky (Glogirly) for the cover design. We'd also like to thank the Pattie (Cathy Keisha), Peggy (Laila and Minchie) and Bonnie (Chey) for proofing the calendar.
Now if we can get Mom Paula off of FB (playing games) to help us set up the Secret Paws page. We'll have that ready this weekend!
Brulee is top dog cat in the cat tree. Truffle wants to challenge her reign, but as long as Mom Paula is hanging around with the flashy box, a smackdown isn't likely to happen. Just wait until she goes to work today ...
pee ess - we've moved away from our awesome pink blog theme for a few days to go to our spooky theme. This is an old layout, but it's the best we can do right now. Are we spooky enough for you?
We thought we'd take it easy today, but wanted to have a little fun first with Mom Paula's iPhone camera and participate in the Cat on My Head Sunday Selfie Blog Hop. These are not very glamorous photos of us, but they are fun.
Truffle: Does this face look guilty to you? I was just keeping the pink Peggy Blankie warm until Brulee figured out how to get on the bed (snickers...). I've also been taking care of Mom Paula this week - she hasn't been feeling too well.
Brulee: I don't care how innocent you try to look, I have my pink Peggy Blankie back!
We're just hanging out on the kitchen table (shhhhh!) until Mom Paula gets home tonight. Don't you just love the unique shade of green eyes Brulee has? You normally can't see them because most of our photos aren't in natural light and her pupils are so large.
Mom Paula: One of these first days I'm going to get both of them looking at me so you can see their beautiful faces and unique (and different) green eyes.
Mom Paula informed us that our new bed will be be gone in another week. Turns out that she can't sleep on the memory foam type mattresses. So, she's acting on her 120 day comfort satisfaction guarantee and trading it in for a pillow-top/combination mattress. We think she tried out every single mattress in the showroom last night! We're going to enjoy this mattress while we can...
Truffle was tired of looking at the beautiful cat book that Mom Paula's nephew, William, gave her last Christmas and wanted to play with her nip sock she got from the cat bloggers in D.C. last December. Truffle thinks this sock is the best!
We're on alert so we can take care of Mom Paula today while she recuperates from an endoscopy (and possible biopsy). Her procedure is at 7:30 this morning and then she'll come home and sleep with us the rest of the day. We think we're the best nurses that treats can buy! MOL! Seriously, we are going to rest with her all day.
We're participating in the Sunday Selfies blog hop today sponsored by The Cat on My Head. Mom Paula was determined to crop out as much of herself as she could since she didn't have any make up on. We aren't worried because we have natural makeup. MOL!
