KRUUSE Helps with Beauty, Entertainment, and Health

Don't you love it when a company provides products you can use with your fur children to help them stay beautiful, entertained, and healthy?  Persians are a full time job and anything that can accomplish our daily needs is wonderful!
Truffle and the KRUUSE Catrine Catmosphere Treat Ball
Truffle with one of the new products from KRUUSE

We've shared some pet products from KRUUSE in the past and were happy to receive some new products Mom Paula saw at Global Pet Expo this year for review.  We love the variety of products through BUSTER® and Catrine™ that help make our lives a little better.

BUSTER® Undercoat Rake

Truffle and the BUSTER® Undercoat Rake
Truffle demonstrates the amount of fur the BUSTER Undercoat Rake removed the first time.

The BUSTER® Undercoat Rake removes loose undercoat hair without damaging the top coat, which is so important with Persians and other dogs and cats with a soft and silky fur.  It helps remove dirt, shedding hair, mats and tangles with just a few swipes with the rake. Regular combing helps stimulate the coat´s natural oils for a healthy and shiny coat. The Undercoat Rake is designed for long/thick/double coats. The Undercoat Rake is available in small and large with three different style of pins and is appropriate for both cats and dogs. Mom Paula liked it because of the ergonomic and comfortable handle and the fact the pins of the rake didn't hurt us. The Undercoat Rake is definitely a new tool in our grooming kit.

Catrine™ Catmosphere Treat Ball

Brulee and the Catrine™ Catmosphere Treat Ball
Brulee guarding her new favorite toy - The Catrine™ Catmosphere Treat Ball

Everyone knows we love treats and research says cats need to satisfy their natural instincts of hunting.  The Catrine™ Catmosphere Treat Ball stimulates a cat's curiosity with the unique treat dispenser.  This dispenser has an unpredictible roll that engages your cat to chase it. Just fill the treat ball with her favorite treats and watch her hunt, play, and eat. The physical stimulation involved in the chase makes this dispenser suitable in controlling the diet and treatment of feline obesity.  This toy is also suitable for puppies.

It took approximately 10-15 minutes for Brulee to figure out the Catmosphere Treat Ball. Mom Paula began by rolling it and allowing some treats to come out.  Both Brulee and Truffle were interested in the treats, but once they were gone, Truffle ignored it. Brulee was very intrigued and eventually figured out how to use it.  This short video is an abridged version showing Brulee's discovery.  Mom Paula heard the treat ball rolling around all night long once Brulee figured it out. This toy is great for keeping Brulee active and entertained and Mom Paula loved watching Brulee discover something new.

BUSTER® Tablet Introducer

Luckily, we didn't have a need to actually use the BUSTER® Tablet Introducer because we don't currently have any medications we need to take. Mom Paula wishes she had this syringe when Brulee was sick this past Fall and was very difficult to pill.  The Tablet Introducer has a soft rubber tip which helps make it easier to administer a pill to your cat without causing damage to the mouth. The new pill syringe has added finger bars, a transparent barrel of the right length, and a reinforced tablet holder and piston with rubber plunger to help make pilling a cat (or dog) a little easier. Mom Paula likes the way it feels in her hand and hopes this will help pill our difficult little Brulee in the future to help keep her healthy. We hope this isn't anytime soon.

  1. My cats would disagree with me (they'd prefer the toys), but I think the BUSTER® Tablet Introducer would be the item I'd like the best and would get the most use out of. My senior cat, Moko, is on daily medication (she gets 1/2 of a small pill twice a day for hyperthyroidism). Even though the pill is so small, Moko still gives me issues taking it. I did try a transdermal version of the medication, but Moko was seriously allergic to something in the gel so we're back to the pill. You'd think 1/2 of a small pill wouldn't be an issue, but Moko makes sue to make a fuss. I have been thinking of trying something like this for her.

  16. The pill thingy looks very inneresting. TW wishes she would have had it when she had to medicate Chizzy. No matter how far she put it into his mouth, she'd find it on the chair the next day. We're entering just to get that.

  21. Sadie would love the catmosphere treat ball! By now I've learned that my dog has the work ethic of a cat - she's too lazy to use dog treat dispensing toys, but she loves the ones made for cats!

  22. The Buster undercoat rake would be what we used the most. My 2 year old cat Keala is a terrible shedder.

  23. Manna and Dexter would love the treat ball! They are big fans of toys with treats inside. I can see the other 2 items coming in handy too. My kitties shed quite a lot and occasionally Dexter needs pills because of a stubborn respiratory infection that keeps coming back. Thank you for the giveaway! I love your adorable photos. :)

  28. I'd love the tablet introducer - my cat Peanut Butter, who weighs 7 pounds, has the strength of a body builder when I'm trying to get her to take any kind of pill. Peanut Butter would love the Catmosphere treat ball and I would love to see her getting a bit of a workout from it!

  29. I could use ALL of the products. I have a Himalayan and a Gray Persian who both need to be brushed daily. I'd love the BUSTER® Undercoat Rake. My cat Trinny is obsessed with treats and we do have treat toys, but that Catrine Treat Ball is unique. She'd love it! Gracie May is a little stubborn, so it's almost impossible to give her pills. I'd like to try the Buster Tablet device. Thanks for the chance!
